Set Design     Objects     About

Selena Liu is a Taiwanese-American multi-disciplinary artist and set designer producing work that spans sculpture, installation and performance. With a degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute, a sense of interaction is present throughout their works, blurring the boundary between the artist and the audience. Their current body of work has evolved towards immersive sculptural works that combine interaction, motion, and found objects in abroader exploration on themes of identity and nostalgia. This ongoing exploration is interwoven into their set designs and into their line of homeware designs, which are carried at institutions such as the Whitney, Brooklyn Museum, and Museum Of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
